Hostel | Biskops Arnö is an island in Lake Mälaren with remnants of a bishopric from the 1200s. Footpaths, centuries-old oak trees and a private swimming area welcomes the visitor. The old agricultural landscape tells the island's history as well as the national historical building which includes houses from the Middle Ages to the 1700s. The Gothic hall from the early 1300's is famous for its simple Beauty.
The hostel on Biskops Arnö is open from June 4 to August 16.
There are 100 beds in 76 rooms and we have a newly renovated kitchen.
It has large child-friendly green spaces. In addition to stroll through the beautiful countryside you can play Kubb, rounders and outdoor chess.
Canoes and bicycles are available for rent. We have newly laid boule court. We have two stationary barbecue areas, a slope of the mountain fortress and one at the jetty on the other side of the island.
There is much to visit in the surrounding area. It is close to Skokloster Castle,
Sjöö castle, Ekolsund, Enköping, Hjälstaviken nature reserve, Åbergs museum and several golf courses.
The hostel has 100 beds in 90 rooms and a newly-renovated kitchen for self-catering.
